 Pastor Duane Crossman has over 35 years experience in pastoring and being a shepherd for the lost. During his 35 years he has earned four degrees a Th.G, Th.B, Th.M and Th.D. During his career of being a pastor and servant of Jesus Christ he has served in many different positions and taken upon himself some very high reaching goals and many acclaimed accomplishments with established services that continue to this day because of this passion to help those in need and his dedication to following Jesus’s example in helping this brother or sister and neighbors and are described as follows.

During his career of being a pastor and servant of Jesus Christ he has served in many different positions and taken upon himself some very high reaching goals and many acclaimed accomplishments with established services that continue to this day because of this passion to help those in need and his dedication to following Jesus’s example in helping this brother or sister and neighbors and are described as follows.
Pastor Duane is an active biblical counselor. As a counselor he has been to court to testify and help those in need. He has done couple counseling, child, children and family counseling. All is kept confidential and as long as all parties are willing to work together with the same goals his counseling is very effective.
Pastor Duane has also founded the organization called “Life Search” in which he was a host on the radio. His show as aired weekly in where he reached thousands of people from every walk of life. His show preached the Word of God and people were allowed to call in for prayer, receive Christ as their Lord or just open to asking questions. Thousands listened weekly and hundreds were saved though this outreach program.
During this same period Pastor Duane started a ministry for women called “Life Saver”. This organization is dedicated to pregnant women who choose not to have an abortion but choose to go through with their pregnancy to full term. If the ultimate wish of the individual was to put the baby up for adoption, Pastor Duane and his wife Kathy, had an adoption agency that worked directly with this ministry. If the women were in need of, or lacked anything, they were encouraged to call for help, to which pastor Duane’s ministry made every effort to immediately respond to such requests. Life Saver provided free medical care, a place to live and if the woman was still in school, a free Christian education that would eventually lead them to receive their High School diploma. This ministry also shepherded a home for girls who needed a place to live while being with child.
Pastor Duane’s last position was Senior Pastor of Bethlehem Baptist Fellowship. He served in the capacity of Senior Pastor for 4 satisfying years. Bethlehem Baptist Fellowship has since joined with Victory Baptist Church to become Beacon Baptist Fellowship Church located in beautiful downtown Thomaston, CT.
Prior to this Pastor Duane was an Associate Pastor of Friendship Baptist Church in Litchfield, CT. He spent 12 very satisfying years of service while being there.
Along with pastor Duane’s years of serving at Friendship Baptist as an Associate Pastor he has also served as an Associate Pastor of Cornwall Baptist Church and as Senior Pastor of Grace Baptist Church, both of which are located in upstate New York.
Pastor Duane has also served as a Police Chaplain of Courtland, New York and as a Bible Counselor and Victim Relief Chaplain.
He is married to his lovely wife Kathleen and together they have four adult children.
Pastor Duane and Kathy tremendously enjoy their time as grandparents and serving the Lord in whatever capacity he has chosen for their lives.
